Find out what the useContext React hook is for and how to use it!
Look at mineIntroduction to React hooksFirst of all, if you are a novice to them.
One of the React hooks I sometimes use isuseContext
.
import React, { useContext } from 'react'
This hook is used in conjunction with the React Context API.
In particular, this hook allows us to get the current context value:
const value = useContext(MyContext)
Refers to the nearest<MyContext.Provider>
ingredient.
calluseContext
It will also ensure that the component is re-rendered when the context value changes.
I suggest you read myContext API tutorialLearn more about it.
